Silly Girls

The girls are always acting silly, sometimes I get it on film. So here are some recent pictures taken of the little ones goofing around.

Visit with Martha

The girls love the tv show Martha Speaks, so when we heard Martha was coming to the local library, we took them to meet Martha. After we got there, they listened to a story and then Martha came out. Rachel hugged Martha, but Sarah was too scared. Rachel's long time friend Mary Margaret was there too.

In-Laws Visit

Here are some pictures from when the in-laws came to visit again in August. The puppy in the photo is Rocko, their new dog. Rachel loved to hold Rocko.

Just Some Photos

Sarah playing with Daddy and Rachel. And one of cute Rachel!

Sarah's Sense of Style

Sarah loves to dress herself in the morning, although she still has not figured out you want to match your clothes. But she will grab a blue headband and tell me it matches, so she should be there soon!

I Kid You Not

Okay, I am not kidding, after I posted the dog hanging pictures below, I went out of my office and noticed they had some new items hanging (which is now a no-no in our house since they wanted to hang Daisy). But now they have moved onto hanging babies. My goodness!

Sick Sense of Humor

These were taken back in March. The girls really do have a sick sense of humor (and they don't even realize it). Poor dogs. Oh, and just so you know, they wanted to hang Daisy too. Of course I told them they couldn't that it could seriously hurt her. But they don't understand.

Krispy Kreme

Rachel and Sarah love going to Krispy Kreme to watch them make the doughnuts and then eat them. We went earlier that day, and they came home with the hats. When daddy got home, they wanted to pose for him, so they put the hats on (even though they are eating apples).

It is not often we can get Sarah to smile for the camera, so I was very happy to get this photo. Notice the Krispy Kreme hat is upside down. But that is how she wanted it.

Sweetie-Pie

Okay, Sarah does not like to be called any term of endearment. So today when she asked for milk, I said "okay sweetie-pie". She says "no not sweetie-pie, I Sarah".

No matter what you call her, she says no and that her name is Sarah. I can call her cutie, sweetie, my honey-bunch, or whatever I come up with. But I always get the same reaction, "I Sarah".

Tomato Chips

I think Rachel is so funny sometimes. yesterday she asked for "tomato chips". I asked her to show me what she was referring to and she pointed to a bag of potato chips and said, "I want some of these tomato chips". Ha ha ha. I could not help but laugh. Then I told her they were potato chips.

Play-dough

I realized that when you let your kids play with play-dough, it is wise to keep a close eye on them. Otherwise you will walk into the bathroom to find a sink full of water and kids splashing water all over the floor. That is not too bad compared to the fact that when I went to drain the water, I realized the plug was up and that handfuls of play-dough were pushed down the drain to clog it. Well, at least they are creative! How else would they have filled up the sink?

Today Rachel asked to play with the play-dough again. She said "I promise we won't put it in the sink anymore". She makes a good argument.

Trying the blog again

I have pulled down our website and am going to try to use just a blog. Most of my friends and family are on facebook, but some are not, so that is why this is being created. I will post more later once I come up with a background.
